Tom founded the original Synaptic Advisory Partners LLC in 2008 with a mission to help organizations optimize their operations on Salesforce. During his years as CEO, Tom led Synaptic through significant growth, developing industry-focused capabilities, successfully launching products on the AppExchange and being recognized multiple times as part of the Inc. 5000.
A seasoned entrepreneur, leader, advisor, and investor, Tom has built, scaled, and successfully exited several companies. His experience spans operational leadership and strategic investment, with a focus on AI.

Jonathan Perl
Board Member, Boulder Ventures
Jonathan Perl is a General Partner at Boulder Ventures since 2002, bringing over 28 years of venture capital expertise in early-stage technology investments. He currently serves on multiple boards including Stardog, Terrago Technologies, and PeopleReign, while holding investments in Antithesis and Morning Consult.
His portfolio includes successful exits such as Clarabridge (acquired by Qualtrics), Flyby Media (acquired by Apple), and ERA Corporation (acquired by SRA International). Previously at Intersouth Partners, where he became Partner in 1999, Perl led numerous successful early-stage investments. He holds an MBA from Dartmouth's Tuck School and a BA from Tufts University.
David Joubran
Board Member, Equity Investor
David Joubran serves on company boards including Culmen International, Hakkoda, Intact-Technology, and Synaptic Era. Previously he was Senior Vice President at Salesforce.com following their acquisition of Acumen Solutions, where he served as Co-Founder, President, and CEO.
Joubran began his career at Andersen Consulting (now Accenture), then built and managed the eBusiness practice at NDC Group (subsequently known as Xpedior).
